Wednesday May 19, 2021 12:00 p.m.- 1:00 p.m. Phoenix Time

Potpourri of Contemporary Events

In today's environment of media and data proliferation it can be tough to distill insight and get perspective. For example, there is a lot of discussion of populism, yet few define what is meant. What is the current populism? How does one measure it? Also, a lot is happening outside this country. Much of it doesn't get covered in our media. What are some of the big topics which could affect us? I will attempt to bring a fresh perspective to important issues of the day. Of course, that means I am obliged to cover the pandemic...at least a little.

This session will meet the following learning objectives:

·     Attendees will learn about the financial changes happening in the U.S.

·     Attendees will learn about financial issues surrounding the pandemic
