American Companies Must Understand and be Prepared for Geopolitical Risk

Russia's invasion of Ukraine and the economic sanctions followed is a reminder that businesses cannot afford to undermine geopolitical risks. This presentation will give an update about  great power competition between the US and China and recommend some measures American companies should take to protect their employees and business continuity.

Session Objectives:

1) Understand the current state of the U.S.-China conflict and where it is heading

2) Understand the risks an American company faces

3) What can a company do from short-term to long-term

Speaker:

Helen Raleigh, CFA, is the founder of Red Meadow Advisors, LLC. Helen is a financial expert with more than 20 years of experience. Helen authored two books on China, including "Backlash: How China's Aggression Has Backfired." Helen published many China-related op-eds and is frequently interviewed by national media.
