Session Title:  Financial Supply Chains are at an Inflection Point. Are You Ready to Capitalize?

Focus:

The session focuses on the financial supply chain, a key aspect for all treasury and finance departments as well as for financial institutions offering trade and working capital finance.

Optimizing a company's financial supply chain can bring stability and flexibility to the organization and its trading partners by providing working capital to where it is needed most in the supply chain, thus shifting the focus from survival to improving efficiency, innovation, and investment in new opportunities.

In recent times, longer sales cycles, higher inventory costs, anticipated economic downturns, and a steady drumbeat of interest rate hikes have put the mitigation of supply chain disruptions and efficient management of working capital on the top agenda of any top management. Today more than ever, achieving efficient cash flow levels, applying the right payment terms, and risk management for companies and their suppliers have become even more crucial to ensure adequate financing and business survival.

Whilst there are many technological and financial solutions that have been applied in the past, a truly innovative and effective approach utilizing artificial intelligence and predictive analytics had yet to materialize.

The market opportunity for corporate and financial institutions, based on case studies of leading organizations will also be covered including key areas and innovations that are making such improvements to financial supply chains successful like blockchain, artificial intelligence, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance).

Demonstrations of a few solutions for optimizing financial supply chains will be presented and discussed during the event followed by a Q&A.

Speaker:
