Treasury with Purpose: Balancing Safety, Yield, and Community Impact

Treasury professionals are at the forefront of managing cash with precision, balancing safety, liquidity, and yield. Yet, as the role of treasury evolves, there’s an opportunity to do more than safeguard and grow cash reserves. Treasury professionals can drive meaningful impact by aligning their cash management strategies with organizational values by doing good with deposits to supporting underserved communities and local economies while advancing corporate responsibility goals.

This session explores the growing trend of integrating impact into treasury management, with 89% of organizations now allocating a portion of their operating cash to impact investing (2024 AFP Liquidity Survey). Attendees will learn how to meet these evolving demands without compromising on safety, liquidity, or returns.

1.Insights into the current cash landscape and the role of impact through the treasury function.

2.How deposits can foster economic growth in diverse, underserved communities in all 50 states.

3.Supplementing and seamlessly supplementing and amplifying corporate responsibility goals without “writing checks”.
